About Keegan
Keegan works with adults who are seeking assistance related to anxiety, perfectionism, trauma, grief, depression, and life transitions including career and relationship difficulties. You can expect therapy with Keegan to be heart-centered and affirming with an approach that is rooted in relational and attachment-based frameworks. She uses trauma-informed, experiential modalities designed to support healing with curiosity and calm.
Keegan’s experience is with adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She has facilitated groups designed to treat dual diagnoses and complex traumas, and worked with individuals struggling with a wide spectrum of mental health diagnoses. She has trained with the AEDP Institute and draws from multiple therapeutic modalities including; AEDP, Internal Family Systems, Coherence Therapy, Polyvagal Theory and Somatic Experiencing.
A Texas resident by way of New Hampshire and New York, Keegan believes that it’s healing to bring humor and lightness to the therapy space and will be happy to talk with you about coping skills for a meaningful life and the latest think piece on the current pop culture landscape. She acknowledges the difficult step it can be to reach out for help and honors the self-trust and courage it takes to do so.
Keegan is a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) under the supervision of Dr. Wendy Bates of ATA and Stephanie Degrate, LCSW-S.
